haiyo. my brother is still trying to introuce me to his church friends.
I am not against making new friends, but i prefer it that it is not forced or something.
he make it sound like i AM in the wong for not going with him.
come on, you have pased through a stage where u rthink that making more friends is better, but that does not mean i will go though the same thing right??
I explained to him and he seems unwilling to listen. SIGHz.
but nevermind him.
my class went to the family center whose kids we are going to hold our SL camp for.
to settle admin stuff and also to familiarize with the kids them
we went first to the cheng san branch
its surprisingly close to my house and even to mao kun's house.
its a coincidence that lately i have been to that area for soccer, then to mao kun's house - twice..and only this year.
and the cheng san branch of the family center just opposite the mac there.
played with the kids there for a while. some of them quite shy, while others are so like open.
but most of them are the innocent and cute type..hahas. (duh..!)
one kid even crawled under a table trying to avoid us (she dun even look scared, shes just playing)
we thus get to play childish game like "sally sally loam chiam pa..." that mixture of hand clapping thingy before the scissor paper stone.winner get to touch the back of loser's head with one finger and loser have to guess which finger is it.
most of them there from townsville pri. think should be got some jing shan kids as well...but guess we were too early bahs.. will be seeing them in the camp anyways.
but overall it was fun fun fun.
we then proceed to the ang mo kio branch near amkps.
smaller branch, but much more kids.
settled some admin stuff before we get to interact with the kids.
but barely 5 mins only, and the kids have to go for afternoon session pri sch (most of them are from amkps) le.
the admin ppl thus brief us on our rules and regulations before we left.
what a day.
i am discovering more about ang mo kio this year!
harmoc SL is something about another family service cneter (again.??)
teaching kids harmonica and also some other skills.
facing kids for both the SLs. this is really an experience.
I am in for OGL! congrats to das, elina, yuhuai and michael as well.
