Dad has made the decision to let mum go to the hospice for in-patient care. This was despite the fears of mum of what might await her there. I was kinda not for the idea, as my holidays (save for the exams) have started and I feel that I can help out at home.
But nurse joey who came just now said that she will have to go eventually as she gets weaker and needs better care. And that we are unable to provide the adequate care that she needed.
The last sentence really pains me though. I have been busy with school, and with the little time between work, I have tried to help. For the past few days since reading week startsI have helped with what I can, including feeding her and stuff. But I can really see the signs of her indicating her weakening states each day: unable to walk unaided, sleeping much of the day..
She's now still quite alert and still eat alot of small meals though. And her vomiting is lesser.
Much as I share mum's desire for her to stay at home, I accept that she's really gonna get weaker each day. And that dad has been quite stressed out looking after her.
