Blog's been dead for quite some time! Time to take heed of the past few months.
Been busy with lots of things. in school. at home. sometimes overwhelming me. not sure how i got through them.
Studies is okay so far! Studying and doing projects with mostly the same group of good frens!
Things have not yet settled down at home. mum's still suffering from the side effects of the damn radio-therapy, despite is having ended more than a month ago. Worse than chemotherapy man.
Received a bursary from school, only to have it spend on an upcoming root canal in jan. =( Not yet spent, but its still pains my bank account to have the money soon to be taken away after i got it. on dental again...of all things.
On a happy note, I am glad that I have joined YRS as part of Nus comm service club!
It is yet another cca that i have not regretted joining, ever since secondary school. Always have doubts at first but i think once u put yur heart and efforts into it, its quite rewarding. Met many new and good friends with the same interest and dedication!
Volunteering has also been one of the most fulfilling thing i have done in nus. Seeing the kids and the volunteers enjoy the outing last oct, it was rewarding seeing our efforts not gone to waste. Hopefully the upcoming camp will be just as good for both the kids and the volunteers!
There's also the stargazing trip i went last month at punggai, malaysia ! Spending the night marveling at the stars and spending the day sleeping and doing work. It was a good experience, watching the different galaxies and nebulae and even Jupiter via the giant telescopes. Its also good to be away from the hustle of singapore and home for a while, at a chalet with no internet and mobile access. minus the mosquitoes though.
