Orientation is over! and marks the start of uni life.

Glad i went for the Rag on National Day!
although the weather was unbearing sunny and humid.

We were issued sunblocks during the camp for the Sentosa sun...but i think this is worse
sitting still watching the performances and letting the sun bake the exposed skins.

Good work to the floats! although its such a waste that they'll be demolished.
hopefully the "recycled materials" get recycled.

And the NDP! got a great view using the giant LCD screens and of Marina Bay!
and esp the fireworks!
can really see the lag between realtime and on television (between 2-4 secs)
and of a cute little boy in front of me who keep climbing up and down and couldnt sit for > 1 sec.

Anw, my mum is now finally back home after her first round of chemotheraphy.
after much delays and incidents and scares.
Trying my best to help around at the meantime. and preying for her to get well soon.

sch started today.
2 lectures one after another.
but luckily the lecturers were engaging!
well, its only the start.
of a journey counting by 8 semesters.
