Went to my grandma's yesterday.
It was quite a reunion, cos the cousins from my mum's side were also there.
ah ma was like so happy, though she kinda took a long time to remember the faces and readjust at looking at so many people at one time.
i haven rmb-ed seeing her smile for so wide and long.
for one thing, conversation was quite hard but we somehow managed by talking one at a time and loudly towards her left working ear.
when she was young, she sells sweet and tibits at a school canteen for a living, and managed to bring up my mum and her sisters and brothers up (4-5 i think). once a strong woman, now shes reduced to wheelchair ridden and partially deaf. luckily theres a crazy sometimes but dedicated maid and my 2nd uncle to take care of her. and a former neighnour who never fails to continue to help with buying her groceries.
Hopefully she can live better and more healthy years ahead! (shes now 88)
