National Day celebrations!
National Day celebrations!
Class breakfast at amk mac. But it was abit of a rush. =/
okay. not really the whole class, but at least got 1/4 of them. =)
Louisa was e emcee for e parade segment!
concert segment was wonderful!
dances..and then the ajIdol cheryl singing "home".
Then mr.Toh!
multialented teacher - a PhD scholar, an econs teacher, can sing, and play piano.
with that, he sang a song of mixed national day songs!
abit of corked up at the end when he couldnt find the right pitch, but all went well.
theres this a cappella group "Din & Tonics" comming all the way from Harvard university!
they were in singapore for a performance at e esplanade tonight.
Their singing, actions, lyrics, costumes made everyone so high.
esp the part when one of them the line "count on me , singapooore..." in conjunction with our ndp celebrations!
wonder how the organizing comm brought them in sia.
after the whole concert thingy and a break, we had a briefing on Connect Singapore thingy
the area for our sch was e cross junction near at e backgate , over the nanyang poly overhead bridge, back to the junction and towards amk mrt, where we concect with another sch....
supposed to have a dry run.but so many attempts failed.
one class hold, the other class disconncect..zzz
suddenly, we were told tt its e real thing!
we held our hands, and held, and held...and we were told its over...! zzzzzzz
arent we supposed to say some pledge at least..?=.="
at least we connected for some time bah.
pity e organsiers, run here run there with walktalkie.
in the end, we had our pledge in sch.
after lunch, had to rush to grandma house.
the jouney by train and bus took over 1 hr!
no wonder my mum everytime choose to take a taxi there.
shes quite frail and deaf, but she can still be quite alert and do respond to us.
and is like spending her days sleeping and watching tv on her sofa.
clycling to macritchie tmr!
seems like i have wasted my fri, and perhaps my sat.
luckily got sat evening and sun and mon!
Happy National Day PPL!
