Crosscurrents exhibition

YESTERDAY:
walking home after maths remedial.
we waited at e road divider at our sch gate to let a car pass.
michael and francis in front, me and lawson behind.
we walked after a car, happily chatting.
suddenly i saw micheal duck down.
and barely centimeters from my nose, e barrier came down!!!
i and lawson stunt-ed for a second sia..
evil francis knew it and didnt warn us...=/

TODAY:
went for a GP field trip to the Crosscurrents exhibition at e Osage gallery!
Involving the fusion of technology and art.
only franics and i from the class went though.. saw zirui and samuel.
not too bad. we get to play and interact with the artworks instead of merely watching and admiring them.
let the pictures do the talking!
but i apologise for the extremely poor quality - my batt is low and if i use flash too much, i couldnt have taken so much.

Osage gallery

this artwork used posters of the communist party of china during the cultural revolution.
cameras were used to capture e face of viewers and cropping them on the faces of the pictures.

this well think newspaper got mentioned before. you look inside and you can see ppl looking down from another similar well in another country! cool cool.
(the wells were in the same room for this exhibition though)

360 degrees pict of an airport scene in china!
i have done something similar in IT club before, but as elaborate though....=/

T-Rex! roars and moves violently at us whenwe entered the room.


Using of pressure sensors. The harder we step on the panel, the louder and faster the "guy" pops up and screams in pain.

Interactive book! we flip pages in the air and the screen animates as if we were really flipping.


This room is super super cool!
Using lasers shining across e room, we made music by literally cutting and moving around the lasers.
And when the smoke screen is activated by someone, we can really see the lasers lines clearly!
damn fun.
