Cycling for prata, TIME article

Cycling with Ben, JiaMin and Shuwei this morning! joyce couldnt come cos of her spec course.
Cycled from my hse to yck mrt, then to jalan kayu to eat prata.
Now my butt hurts from all the bumps along the way.
Singapore still has some way to go before becoming wheelchair (and bicycle) firendly!

We spent about 45 mins travelling, 30 mins eating, 1 hr plus waiting for jiamin to finish ben's rubik and then we started talking about potianaks and ghosts!
dunno how the topic even started. talking about water soccer then diary farm then suddenly we veered towards the supernatural.

I have not had any ghostly encounter before and i dun wish to have too also.haha.
but i have heard lots and lots of stories about them and i am inclined to believe that "they" exist.
And as long as we do not afford them or deliberately try to mix with them (other than those unlucky ones who are born to see), i believe that they will not disturb us. =) \\// Peace!

Didnt go to arcade with them upon returning back to yck cos i buying lunch for my mum.
anyways,i got to continue studying for my common tests! (and im here bloggin...z.z.z)

Anyways, The TIME magazine for this week featured an article "How to survive a Disaster".
Although Singapore has been spared from most major disasters (so far) , I still find the article quite interesting, cos it also covers plane crashes etc.
It also include a heart warming story of how Mr.Rick Rescorla, a security executive of a company occupying 22 floors of tower 2 of the world trade center, had helped to save most of the company's employees during the 911 terrorist attack, through his actions that started way before that fateful day.

'Rescorla taught Morgan Stanley employees to save themselves. It's a lesson that has become, somehow, rare and precious. When the tower collapsed, only 13 Morgan Stanley colleagues--including Rescorla and four of his security officers--were inside. The other 2,687 were safe. http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,1810315-1,00.html
