Went for my NS checkup today!
Me, michael, yihang, leckhai,dasmond,clemt,wesley.
our appointment was 8am but we reach at about 7.30am..zzz
so we are sort of the first group that were there.
its something like NAPHA test, take from one station to next.
total of 9 stations ( i think)
1st was photo taking before the start of the actual medical checkups..
1st station for medical part - the urine test.
ask us to urine into one bottle and then dip some a strip of paper with lots of color (like litmus paper) into the bottle, show it to officer outside toilet. if no colour change, then its all clear and can throw...*phew*
then so fast is the blood test le! siao.
my fren say not really pain, but i think the part when the needle go in is quite pain! one whole tube of first blood gone.
lol. then its okay le. until about 5 -10 mins later my arm starts to ache..zzz.
luckily the person(i think is medic or something) doing it is quite nice.
next is the eye checkup. standard kind one- colour blindness and the alphabet screen. except they got scan the spects also. think my degree rise le, cos my form got write some numbers others one quite empty..
then the ear test. now tt my (right) ear has been cleared of unneeded "debris", it should be okay bahs.
go into a soundproof room and its really...silent (duh)
put on a headphone.
raise left hand if u hear something on yur left ear and vice versa.
after tt i was greeted by some old man, led into a room to take off. chest xray. just face some machine, breathe in deeply and out.
then to another section.
take off shirt, socks and shoes to leave in another locker.
height and weight. and blood pressure. the aircon is off, but got the stupid fan blowing...brr.
i grow by 3cm sia! think abit inaccurate. weight i forgot le..zzz
then the ECG test (beats me on what is it)--- some ticklish things to attach to yur body lying down to check yur fat percentage and heartbeat or something.
[comments by lecky: ECG is electrocardiogram.If I'm not wrong its meant to check for anomalies of the heart.lol.]
still with the shirt off, we sat outside rooms cos the "doc" is still not here yet.
he arrived some 5mins later, and then we went in one by one.
unlike what i heard from rumours, they did not really do anything with our *ahem.*
just asked us to strip down fully and then wear back up within a few seconds. nth sensitive*. (no touching, jsut a brief look) ...lol
the officer there then asked for any declarations and health status, before telling me what my PES is.
overall i PES B. cos i slightly underweight.
last part is dental, and the person keep on saying.."XXX un-erupted, XXX also un-erupted...."
which he explain meant that my wisdom tooth haven really "erupt" yet..lol
it was 9 plus by then.
the last station - mental tests! using com de iq , maths, physics, psychological tests!
damn loong la! think about 100 plus questions in all.we went into the room empty and occupied the first few coms. by the time we finished at 11plus, the whole room was kinda full le.
couldn't managed to finish some of the tests cos got time limit. by then my right hand was kinda tired and aching.

afternoon! went to watch Indiana Jones with lecky, wes, and mic
not too bad la! haha. i give it 4 stars out of 5.
middle part quite exciting. alot of funny scenes also..
wes could not stop laughing at the part when henry jones, , the teenage guy (laster found out to be his son) following henry jones, despite trembling hands, went up to comb his hands..! LOL.
