Went back to the doctor again.
It was the same female doctor as the other time and she was surprised to see me back so early...
She asked me to wait outside first while the nurse boiled some water.
And after she attended to 3 other patients, she came back to me and directed me to the other, normally unused room.
Using a syringe, she directed warm water into the blocked ear, to dislodge and try to clear the ear wax stuck in my ears!
it was not painful at first, just a warm comfortable sensation.
The kidney shaped bowl placed next to the ear to collect the water would be full after 6-7 "squirts" and she would empty it.
So the slight pain due to the repeated gush of water really started only after the 4-5 sets. She then explained that my right ear canal is very narrow and is in some weird shape (not straight la),and thus it becomes quite hard for that ear to clear the ear wax normally formed to protect the ear.
So over the years, it had accumulated and became a real problem recently. Dang.
Bits and pieces got flushed out. but not fully.
After many failed attempts to fully clear my ear, she applied olive oil drops again to that ear and asked me to rest in that room for a while.
while she attended to the queue outside, i nearly slept..=.="
She came back and repeated the "squirting".
More "things" came out, and my ear got clearer! but still got somemore left in my ear.
so she said to keep up the ear drops and to come back again next week! Sighz.
