OUR CLASS came in fourth for the Jc2 interclass race at the ajc cross country 2008!
It (the cross country) was held yesterday afternoon at bishan park II with fine weather.
our class had the mindset of most other students - that is to just get thru with the run and be done with it.
but just as wilson and some of us were talking to ms.tay, our PD tutor and also a Pe teacher, she told us to get top 5 for the class with the fastest average timing.
and so wilson briefed the class "class, I have bad news : Ms.Tay wanted us to get top 5..." without being surprised, we just simply responded with "why not?..chiong lor..". and we really did chiong! This started it all.
even with the jc2 guys race screwing up by taking the wrong route "congratulations for making it down to aj histroy to become the first batch of boys to start the cross country 2 times... now listen carefully in english. after you start, you run STRAIGHT down, and TURN RIGHT , i repeat TURN RIGHT.." - briefing by mr.lim before starting us off for the 2nd time.
i ran all 4km plus plus, slowly down once only to grab a cup of water at the water point.
the sensors at the finishing line beeped to register my electronic tag that was used for the race this year
"5th for this year's JC2 inter class race goes to...28/07!! (i think), with a timing of 19:...."
"4th for this year's JC2 inter class race goes to ...21/07!!!, with a timing of 19: blah blah!" Our class really screamed like siao! hahas. our class was like so damn high after that.
it was wilson bdae today, and about half the class went to have dinner with him last night at j8, also partly to celebrate us getting fourth.
ta-baoed and ate at the open area at the 3rd floor of j8, with 2 other groups of ajcians. someone even brought cards to play..lol

TODAY, me, leck khai and wilson went to the NCATMC "New Challenges in Aerospace Technology & Maintenance Conference 2008"
We were like the only school to be there la. the rest all like adults, and ppl from the air force. somemore have to wear long sleeve shirt...
we chose to attend session 1 on aerodynamics of the 6 running simultaneously. not too bad, i didnt bring my spects and so we moved to the front after the 1st speaker ... the rest all quite ok, just that got alot of chim terms that we need to digest.... =/
SIGHZ to jun xiang who arrived and had to go back to ajc even before the whole thing start..=.="
LOL! We are called delegates..
The food for the conference is sponsored by "Boeing" ...=/
we went to mrs.goh house bai nian!
i went to amk mrt to wait for mel, lch, otp, n siang ee, who arrived some 45 mins later. we saw ben upon reaching there (organized by jun xiang and he couldn't turn up..=.=")
Cecilia and 2 other girls from the batch before us were there too. We saw her (duh) and her husband, and of course, her 7.5 mths old son reuben!
chatted with mrs. goh about ajc, amkss and schooling life, with her husband about NS and played with her son alittle. We also saw some of their ultrasound picutres and photos...
