Time flies! the 3 days of orientation'o8 has ended.
I have been returning home pretty tired for the past 3 days!
and i am still tired and my voice is not yet completely found (lost) .
But its all been worth it!
the enthusiasm level of my OG Ibos picked up alot on day 2 and absolutely so on day 3 of the orientation!
the girls and guys are also talking with each other much much more.
The filler games that we learnt during the OGL workshop (polar bear, errm-zi-zi,follow the leader....) have also certainly helped to make waiting time in between activities much less boring.
And even though my OG never did win any games (correct me if im wrong), they still tried their best at every game.
I sincerely also thank them for being enthu and proactive in playing the games and for cheering!
hope to see them around in ajc next week.
except for minor cock-ups, the programs also run pretty well!
esp the pass the hula hoop game whereby the whole alliance is involved.
everyone was cheering like siao.
and how all the berhanzians jumped with joy when we Behanzin finished first for that game!
due to the rain also, we had half our campfire in the hall and the next half in the parade square...interesting...wahaha.
the student council (i can say) has done a very good job planning the orientation.
But of course, without us OGLs, they cant do it also..wahahaha.........
Orientation 1 is also certainly much more fun than orientation 2.
Overall, the 4 workshop days during the holidays and 3 schooldays spent had been worth it.
I feel glad and proud that i have helped made most, if not all of 19 members in Ibos feel welcome in AJC. =))
Shacks though. I finished the hand-made souvenirs for the J1s and now i realised i spelt behanzin as Berhanzin for every single one of them!!!! got to redo. dang. luckily i didnt distribute yesterday sia.
oh yeahs, also many many thanks to lecky and gerald for helping me to buy the tibits and milo packets also! Without them, my OG would problably be starving during the finale cos we 3 ogls didnt buy anything and they also brought only so little for "dinner"
And now its back to school life.
i still got my econs and GP essays to finished. Luckily Mr.Ang never made us hand in our GP articles also...*phew.*
Oh yeahs. One lest thing. On coming home late last night, my mum told me a shocking news :
Local comedian Mc King has passed away!
So sudden! I used to hear him alot when my mum tuned in to love97.2 fm every morning. And i also sometimes see him on tv shows and dramas.
so young, so cheerful, and although he seems to be on the fat side, he seems quite healthy.
so its a lesson to "Live your life as if its your last"
