Dec SHF CIP; Harmoc SL Concert

CIP at singapore heart foundation in the morning.

i arrived at about 10 plus to find so many ppl queuing outside junction 8, way past the office tower and the park entrance...!

me and francis did calling to ask a list of heart volunteers regarding the heart flag day on the 26 of dec.
only 7 out of 70 plus ppl indicated interest!!
the rest all got reasons like overseas trip, working, not convenient etc.
not tt i dun believe them .. but 7 out of 70 plus is like ...err ...disappointing.

meanwhile, chun hui and siao chi did the newspapers cuttings.

by the time we went out for lunch at about 12 plus, the queue has swelled to beyond junction 8 le.

we ate at a coffeeshop nearby. i ate kuay chap for $3.50! damn X. the ingredients not alot also.

we then went on to find out wjat the queue is about.
its actually for luo  zhi xiang de autograph session at 7pm!!
and when we came at 10plus am, the queue is like so long le.

we thought the queue is gone when we went home at 3plus.
turn out that the queue moved slightly inwards towards shelter bcos of the ...rain.

come evening, i went with my harmoc frens to the daybreak centre concert at naval base pri.
only 7 of us turned up.

we had earlier bought sweets and chocolates for them, intending to give them after the concert.

we turned up slightly late and so had to sit on the floor - not that we minded it.

the concert went smoothly, despite some hitches.
some of the kids was like involved in 3-4 of the performances! ranging from dance, drama, choir and of course, the harmonica performance.
for the harmoc performance, they played pretty well, although the silent night song was played abit too fast...LOL.
all our efforts have not been in vain.

but my hand phone kept on getting hang. so I was only able to take some pictures and record some videos.

there was some dance thingy led by mdm.khoo (surprisingly!), one of the older teachers of daybreak. we did not join in, however, but clapped for the kids dancing with their parents.

buffet came, and it was a spread. we began distributing the choc to kids we recognize, and then one remaining packet of chocolates to the daybreak staff members.

and we had a laughingly good time making jokes on our journey back to yishun mrt. hahahas.

"I am maria" "And I am cecilia" "and we are the MCs for today.." LOLOL.
