soccer in rain

had an extremely fun day yesterday

as usual met up with amkss guys to play soccer.

had a switch of 4 places before we found somewhere that we can play.
from amkss(sian...now need booking by singapore sports council) to ssc near amkss to ssc near ben's house to ssc near deyi sec.

even so, the last place had also 2-3 teams waiting to play. talk about limited land space.

we compete with them and we lost (they are army guys vs we 17-18 years old students)

then it started to rain...and it rained heavily. the guys came out, and we crazily took the chance to go in and play - in the rain.

think about soccer in a square pool of water.
and whenever the ball gets to a corner of the court where most of the water ends up to, we had a splashing good time with 4-5 legs trying to get the ball....
there were lots of slides (and slips). I too slipped and fell 1 time.
most of us removed our shoes and socks to prevent them being soaked through
we take turns playing and also seek shelter under umbrellas when not playing

hahas, the finally it stopped raining, and the sun came out.
we still continued playing - to dry out our clothes...
but the good thing is, we had the whole court to ourselves!

lunch at about 3-4 plus at a market nearby. helped an elderly lady sitting at a void deck buy her vege rice cos she says she cant move.
I also did not realize that somehow the market we ate in was quite near ewen and my houses, close such that we can even walk home...

Oh yeahs!
i forgot to mention that on the day before when me, yijun, ben and shuwei were having breakfast breakfast at central mac after jogging, we saw mdm.anantha! she too was srprised when we called her, and only managed to say "Oh hi!! buying breakfast fpr my little kids.."
