yesterdaes 1 day tour @ malaysia was okay but tiring..
meeting place : Ang Mo Kio Blk 524 RC (just behind my flat)
the bus actually fetched us all the way from there..so no need to go golden mile or anywhere else..
went thru costums smoothly (thankfully, there was little waiting)
however, the tour guide warned us about 70 +++ buses coming bak from genting thru second link in evening ....(not including other buese from elsewhere like meleka etc)
shall skip a bit here...
lunch and dinner was switched..
that means we eat our lunch at what should be our dinner place and so forth
food is nice..anmd as we were the first bus to reach, there was no ppl..
went to some places..
at fruit farm, actually met ex-staff jonathan..
actually, i saw a head veri familiar sitting on the benches outside..
although he dyed hair, i found him familiar..
tt guy was playing with a girl ( i think his sister) and his voices make mi confirm hes him (jonathan)
i called him
he responded with a hi!
and i am relieved (that i have not called the wrong person)
dinner at our supposedly lunch place is FABULUS!
firstly , our tour guide and our bus driver was fast..
we made it there before the other 5-6 buses
at 4+(i mean it)
secondly, the food was nice!
There was fried egg oyster, vegetable, fishball soup and the best was the LOBSTERS and CRABS!
had a good time getting and trying to get the meat our of the lobster with my chopstick and spoon..
then went to the firefly farm..
its my first time there..
we got there at about 5 +++
and waited
while watching the news (from singapore mediacorp channel 8)
for the sky to turn dark (as in night time, not the heavy rain clouds)
we were the first, again!
we took a boat down the river
the boatman was slow but steady..
as it was still quite bright..couldnt quite see anything
then the boat u-turned..
and at the other side..
we saw lots of christmas trees..
lighted by the firefires..
it was quite a pretty sight (even the boatman was surprised)
they were lots of them...
and they targeted only certain trees
after that raced straight to the checkpoint..
every bus we overtook= 15 mins cut off from waiting time @ singapore tuas checkpoint
bit still, we had to wait at least an hour just to get off the bridge at a pace slower than snails
finally, we were let off the torture
we cleared cutoms and went hoome
