heres an account of wat happened during the camp
some may be a bit wrongly..based on my poor everlosting memory...
Day b4 the camp
managed to finish the mutral charts at about 3.30pm..
wif the help from the CD and the information from the spect manual from suriana <<>
First Day
went to meet the rest of e ppl together wif samuel at the school bus stop at about 6.30pm.
sat at the tables and chairs and waiting for the rest to come.
yijun,ben,lionel, and some others came to see us off..
finally we went off at about 7+ on a 268 bus..
reached there at about 7.20 am +
feeling really tired...
fall in in our schools and we r rearranged to eagle 1, 2 falcon 1 & 2
corse outside sort of drizzling so we had to fall in inside shelter
when my name was calle, i was told to fall in upstairs
i went upstairs, together with cindy and hansheng and fell in with the platton already upstairs
the Pc was mdm lydia, who talked to us for a little while b4 we had to fall in downstairs in our flights to take attendence.
tts when mi, cindy and hansheng discovered we r not in tt flight (falcon 2)
so we had to wait outside b4 some sir came to tell us our real flight...(falcon 1)
aniwae..falcon 1 ist quite nice...

the rest of amksian in eagles..
our sir is a Sir Khai
a veri nice guy
had some lectures, wonderful lunch,briefings, then revision on our trainfire and IFC
my grp kind of miss striping and assembling of rifles due to time shortage
then after another nice round of dinner is our revision for GSK in the freezing theatre
sir vincent went thru some powerpoint slides, b4 ariff from our flight talked to us more on GSK
gave us damn lots of information...
then finally, the bad news came..
GSK test would be held on tt evening instead of the second night..
oh dear..we had to memorise the whole lot of information in just 1/2 hour plus
worse than examintaions i tell u
Eagle did the test first..while Falcon had supper first..
went thru the notes,but felt like f a ll i n g a s l ee p...Zzz..
soon it was our turn to enter the freezing room again
we had to sit on alternate seats
and i had to sit under an aircon..BRRRR...
halfway thru the test, one sir or mdm (i can rmb) took away kheng meng's paper suddenly..
i was surprised, so was he and probably everyone who saw tt..
then realised the sir/mdms have caught him "cheating"
when he claimed afterwards he just looking around...
theres also this warrent lim
who came to talk to us about tieing our boots tightly.
and about wat is AAR.
and a skinny and short boy (NOT ME) in our flight was scolded for being worse than African and told him to eat more fries
haiz.....bad luck lah..
went to sleep at about 11 plus...
slept on the bottom of a double decker bed..
with the wind from the fans barely missing me
and the SPOTLIGHt from outside shinning directly onto me
aniwae..had a 'good' night sleep..

2nd day
had some 'nice' breakfast of mee chai mak (rice noodle)
then did our IFC mutrals..
our flight was so big..
instructor ist mdm.lydia..
had to sit and stand about 22 times..
and shouting "AIR SPEC" 22 times when we were told to butts down by each person..
and my turn took forever to come..
finally at about 12 plus..
when other flights have finished..and lunch have started.
we still have 4-5 ppl left...
then its my turn..
i reported to mdm...and then started on why field signals r important...
then mdm.jydia interrupted me...
saying we will have our lunch first...
i was like..."okay...."-_-!
so we had our lunch and discussed about cadet nights in the meantime..
and finally lunch is over, and i had my mutral done..
Next is our Tf mutrals.
half of my mutral chart is already wrong..
and luckily no need to sit and stand again..
had some spare time, so passed around an email list for everyone to fill in and gie to yi xuan to type and email to everyone to add on msn.
and finally the day is over...
BUT wait!!
theres still this warrent lim,
who came to talked to us again...
and i think he asked someone about his school..
"What school you from"
"ABC School Sir.!"
"F***ed up....!"
Its true..he really said tt...
hes also the one who is controlling the CLTs..
Third Day
our practial day
b4 it started...everybody was told to stand up and wear our beret..
all those who have sideburns outside the beret caught for haircut...
by a barber whioch unfortunately was there as well..
they said ist for us to look smart in the parade
me oso kena caught ..
first time in my life..
and my hair ist like..still so freaking short..
so had to go bak bunk , take money, and come bak and wait.
rynel, kheng meng, hansheng oso caught by the sirs..
so had my sideburn trimmed and bak part cut a bit..
all for $2..
tt explains y my hair appears werid to ppl on friday...
kena screwed up my striping and assembling in the trainfire...
the rest okay..
now trainfire seemed easier..
then for the IFc....it was starting to rain, sosome had to conduct indorrs..
however when the rain stopped,our sir khai get us to do the crawls in the outdoor wet field..
veri fun....the field was so wet and there was a haicut on the field just b4 the rain...
walked out of field with wet uniforms and grass all over body..
quite itchy though
went bak to listen to another talk by warrant lim about the 4 second dash...
dinner was as usual..nice....
had some time to discuss about cadet nights..
my platton did it at the staircase...
actually cadet nites was cancelled..
but our sir khai pleaded with the others to continue having it..
because of wat we have done..
finally our cadets night liaoz..
damn fun..falcon 1 was first to go up..
then falcon 2..
then eagles..
the eagles performance quite interesting...
esp, eagle's 1 performance on the b4 and after the spec course..
falcon had a request to mak mdm.lydia and sir khai performed on stage...
however, we promised not to reveal wat mdm.lydia did... :)
sir khai made us sing wif him..
the song "I dream"...
can see that he liked our part so much..
4th day
nth much lah..
breakfast of mee goreng...
area cleaning...
then it kinda of rain..
our platton had lunch at the bottom of the block..
sir khai told us 3 failed spec course and 70% failed GSK...
he was lying lah..
actually its all pass GSK and the spec course...
parade changed to held at the an air con room..
meiyan was the OOC
ariff is the platton best..
then we went up to recive our certs and ranks (if any)
my turn,i was kinda of cold and nervous, hence the cocked up match..
took the enveop, went bak to seat and open it up..
congrats, i got a 2nd sgt..
didnt quite expect it..
i had been preying last night to pass my spec course..
congrats to hansheng hu got it too..
ben, yijun and jocelyn oso there..
dimssisal kinda delayed by the rain...
actually kinda of missed my platton (falcon 1)
theres this sense of belonging and unity....
finally went home in 265 bus wif samuel, yiliang, ben and me(duh..)
ben got off first..follwed by yiliang
then mi and samuel
went home, ate dinner and cecked clear (shit) go online for a while and saw that some yi xuan had added mi..
had a multiple person chat thanks to yi xuan..
chatted with falcon 1 ppl..
haiz..now sort of missing them even thought time wif them was onli 4 days 3 nites..
